Let's Celebrate!

Well, my friends got together and threw THE BEST baby shower, EVER!  I'm not one to like a baby shower really and when my friends wanted to throw one for me, I was skeptical.  I had lots of stipulations and they met all of them.  Mainly I wanted it to be fun and not stuffy.  It definitely was NOT stuffy!  Chris hosted at his condo, there was food galore and a bartender!  It was perfect to say the least and everyone had a great time.  I can't thank everyone enough for all they did and for all the gifts.  I'm feeling rather special these days!  Thanks again girls -- I love y'all!

Gus is here!

January 31st is a special day for my family and it got even more special yesterday.  The last day of January was my Pop's birthday.  He was so special to all of us and yesterday Ashley got to bring another little boy into the world on Pop's birthday.  Augustus Vincent Stewart was born yesterday -- 7 lbs 3oz.  Not only does he share Pop's birthday, but also his name - Vincent (although he will be called Gus).  

It just never gets old to bring another family member into our family.  Billy and I went to Anniston to meet the new baby and I wanted to share some pics we got.  They are not the best, but trying to "control" a hospital room with Jay (4 yrs and bananas), Wil (1 yr. 3 mo.), and a newborn left little time to get some great shots.  

Ashley did beautifully and she is resting, but not for long, I'm sure!  She's got her hands full with her 3 sons now!  They are a great, big, happy family!  Congratulations Ash!
